Book Title:
Climb Greater Heights
Publication Date: 30th June 2025
Publisher: Balboa Press, A Division of Hay House
What is your book about?
Climb Greater Heights equips readers with practical tools and actionable strategies to transform ambition into tangible results. Tony J. Selimi blends timeless wisdom with real-world application, showing how listening to the heart, prioritizing self-care, and nurturing meaningful relationships can elevate both personal and professional endeavours. His conversational style stands out because he not only inspires—he tells readers exactly what to do, making the advice immediately actionable.
At its core, the book introduces Selimi’s unique frameworks, including an eight-step process for turning purpose into concrete actions, alongside proven approaches to leadership, decision-making, and business growth. Readers discover how to identify and address “voids”—the gaps between where they are and where they want to be—which in turn guides strategy, strengthens leadership, and informs entrepreneurial actions such as pitching, building partnerships, adopting technology, and managing customer relations.
The book combines mental conditioning, purposeful planning, and ecosystem development with ongoing evaluation to ensure alignment, adaptability, and consistent performance across all areas of life and business. Growth accelerators in the form of building authority, credibility, influence, strategy, execution, and optimization are also explored, alongside guidance on personal branding, networking, writing books, and positioning yourself to be visible, influential, and impactful.
Ultimately, Climb Greater Heights is a comprehensive roadmap for achieving measurable business success while making authentic connections, creating positive impact, growing your sales and building a legacy of significance. It challenges assumptions, reframes setbacks as transformative lessons, and turns roadblocks into stepping stones toward extraordinary growth.
What inspired you to write your book?
What breaks my heart is this: nine out of ten entrepreneurs will never see their vision succeed. Not because they lack passion or intelligence, but because they are drowning in noise, chasing hacks, and living out of alignment with their deepest values. I’ve sat across from brilliant leaders, coaches, and business owners who built empires on the outside while silently crumbling on the inside.
Climb Greater Heights was born from my calling to change this story. From being homeless on the streets of London, to leading multi-billion-pound transformations, to coaching clients across industries, I saw one universal truth: when we align our values, vision, and actions, we create sustainable growth that elevates every area of life.
This book is my blueprint for those who dare to dream big but are tired of sacrificing their health, relationships, or authenticity. It’s for the visionary entrepreneur who wants more than just profit—they want impact, influence, and a legacy that outlives them. My mission in writing it was simple: to equip you with the tools to rise above mediocrity, master your life and business, and climb greater heights than you ever thought possible.
Can you describe your writing process? How did you get your book written and how long did it take?
My writing process is both deeply structured and profoundly intuitive. I begin by mapping the vision of the book—its purpose, audience, core messages, chapter maps, and the transformation it promises. From there, I create a detailed framework, often using my own methods such as the 12-Step Growth Accelerator Method® to guide the flow of ideas into clear, actionable steps for readers.
I write in focused blocks of time, usually late evenings, when the world is quiet and my creativity is most alive. Inspiration often strikes from over a decade coaching session with clients, keynote speeches, or reflections on my own journey. I treat writing as both a discipline and a dialogue with the reader—asking myself, “What do they most need to hear right now?”
Climb Greater Heights took me just over a year from concept to completion and publishing. It involved research, refining frameworks, weaving in client success stories, and countless hours of editing to make sure every page offered clarity, precision, and actionable value. Writing a book at this level isn’t just about words—it’s about pouring your life’s lessons, scars, and successes into a roadmap that others can climb.
What was your publishing process like? How did you publish your book and how long did it take?
I chose the hybrid publishing route for Climb Greater Heights because I wanted the balance of professional support and creative control. From the moment I submitted my manuscript, it took about nine months to bring the book to life and make it available globally in both print and digital formats, in English and Spanish.
The process was far from simple. I had to work through multiple challenges with the publisher—everything from editing to design, layout, visuals, and cover. Translating my vision into a finished product that truly reflected the depth and purpose of the book required guiding different teams every step of the way.
It was time-consuming, yes, but worth every moment. Ensuring that the editing was sharp, the design world-class, and the message delivered with impact meant that readers around the globe could experience the book as I intended—a transformational guide of the highest standard.
How do you hope your book impacts the world?
My hope for Climb Greater Heights is that it becomes more than just a book—it becomes a movement. I wrote it to inspire entrepreneurs, executives, leaders, and change-makers to rise above the noise, align their actions with purpose, and step into their role as forces for good. Too many brilliant minds burn out chasing metrics, while the world desperately needs their ideas, their leadership, and their philanthropy.
From my own journey—from homelessness on the streets of London to managing multi-billion-pound technology transformations and now coaching leaders globally—I’ve learned that success without meaning is empty, and growth without contribution is short-lived. This book is my way of handing others the tools I wish I had: frameworks to dissolve fear, strategies to scale impact, and the clarity to transform setbacks into stepping stones.
We are entering a world where AI will touch every job, every industry, and every life. Those who thrive will not be the ones who fear it, but the ones who combine intelligent innovation with human wisdom, entrepreneurial thinking, and values-driven leadership. Climb Greater Heights equips readers to do exactly that—become go-to experts, build businesses that matter, and lead with authenticity.
My vision is to see individuals and organizations using the principles in this book not only to create extraordinary results but to uplift humanity. I want this book to spark movements, fund philanthropic projects, elevate underrepresented voices, and remind us all that wealth and influence mean nothing unless they serve something greater than ourselves.
If Climb Greater Heights helps even one person transform their ambition into a legacy that heals, empowers, and inspires others, then my mission has been fulfilled. But my dream is larger: to ignite one billion people to master their lives, lead with vision, and shape a world where success and significance walk hand in hand.
Are there any people and/or books that have inspired you along your journey?
Yes, many. My inspiration comes from a tapestry of experiences, people, and stories that shaped who I am today. I was born into a family of farmers and restaurateurs, where I learned early the value of hard work, service, and perseverance. Watching my parents build a business that fed millions of people gave me a lifelong respect for entrepreneurship, resilience, and community.
Later, as I worked across industries—government, technology, healthcare, retail, finance, education—I was inspired by the leaders and teams I supported. I saw businesses plateau, people burn out, and organizations lose their way. Helping them dissolve those barriers and achieve breakthroughs taught me as much as I taught them. My clients, from authors, coaches, scientists, engineers, doctors to CEOs, global leaders, and entrepreneurs, continue to inspire me; their courage and determination remind me why I do this work.
I’ve also been profoundly shaped by my mentors and teachers. Dr. John Demartini’s works on values and human behaviour, Daniel Priestly, gave me the courage to build my own frameworks. Leaders like Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, and Jack Canfield taught me how to systemize growth and make wisdom actionable. Writers like Viktor Frankl and Paulo Coelho showed me that meaning and purpose can be found even in suffering. And my dear clients, who allowed me into their most vulnerable moments, continue to inspire the principles I write about in Climb Greater Heights.
Books and mentors lit the way, but it was my family, my clients, and the diverse businesses I’ve walked alongside that made me who I am: a man dedicated to helping others climb their own greater heights, unlock their potential, and build lives and businesses of lasting legacy.
What’s next for you?
From my clients’ perspective, what’s next is about continuing to help them break through plateaus, scale their businesses, heal relationships, write bestselling books, elevate leadership, and create legacies that outlive them. They see me as their trusted partner in navigating disruption, aligning values with strategy, and mastering all eight critical areas of life so they can thrive in an AI-powered future.
From my perspective, what’s next is an expansion of the movement I’ve dedicated my life to. I’m writing my next book, producing a new documentary, and enrolling more leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries into my exclusive Climb Greater Heights VIP Life & Business Mastery Training. I’m also stepping onto more stages and into more TV, radio, podcast, and magazine interviews to share insights that inspire transformation globally. Alongside this, I’m launching new Udemy courses, a certification program, and a Train the Trainer Academy to multiply impact.
From the world’s perspective, what’s next is preparation for a future reshaped by artificial intelligence. That’s why I’m developing Tony J. Selimi Coaching AI and a new app to bring my frameworks to millions, while offering AI-as-a-service tools for organizations seeking growth, innovation, and alignment. The world needs visionary leaders who combine human wisdom with intelligent innovation—and I intend to train them.
Ultimately, what’s next is continuing to climb greater heights together—helping individuals, businesses, and society create extraordinary success, soulful legacies, and a future where human potential and AI work hand in hand to solve meaningful problems.
What advice would you offer fellow authors who are just getting started?
My advice is simple yet profound: start before you feel ready. Too many aspiring authors, coaches, and other professionals let fear, perfectionism, or self-doubt silence their voice. The truth is, your story, your insights, and your wisdom have the power to change lives—but only if you put them on the page.
Write with clarity of purpose. Ask yourself: What problem am I solving? Whose life am I transforming? What product/service am I selling? What business am I building? What legacy am I leaving behind? This clarity will carry you through the long nights and inevitable setbacks.
Treat writing like a discipline, not a hobby. Create a structure, commit to consistent practice, and keep going even when inspiration wanes. Surround yourself with mentors, editors, and coaches who stretch you beyond your limits—my own success as an author has been amplified by guidance from world-class teachers and the inspiration of my clients.
Finally, remember: your book is more than pages—it’s the seed of an ecosystem. Use it to build your credibility, create courses, land speaking engagements, and open doors you never imagined. Publishing a book isn’t the end of your journey—it’s the beginning of a movement.
