They include:

–Hecklers.

–The video equipment dies and it was an integral part of your presentation.

–All the lights in the room where you are presenting go off.

–You arrive to discover the room set-up was nothing like you had told the meeting planner you wanted.

–Your earring falls off (this happened to speaker I was watching) or the scarf around your neck comes untied (this happened to me)

A lot has been written about how to deal with and recover from problems like these. .Research, research, research. Ask other big-time keynoters about their worst problems on stage and how they handled them. You can’t be prepared for every glitch. But knowing how to handle many of them will increase your confidence.
