The Audiobook experience is an award winning boutique studio that delights in working with authors to create their audiobooks. We work with authors who would like to use their voice to narrate (memoirs, thought leadership) and we also provide professional casting to make sure you have the right voice for your audiobook!
What do you enjoy about working with nonfiction authors?
I absolutely love learning – both about people and about the subjects that they are passionate enough to write a book about! I get to hear these stories straight from the source. How amazing is that?
What is the origin of your business? When did your company begin and why?
I started my business in 2008 to reengage with the publishing community after taking a sabbatical to focus on my family. As I learned the craft of recording, it didn’t take long to start connecting with authors who were ready to record! I thought I’d be working with mostly local authors, but to my delight I work with authors from all over the world!
