Author bio
Kerri Acheson often describes her career path with a Steve Martin quote, "And I get paid for doing this!" Because she's always having so much fun doing what she does, she's surprised (and delighted) to be rewarded handsomely for doing it.
With a Ph.D. in Marketing, Consumer Psychology, and Corporate Communications, she has been on the faculty of leading universities - Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism, the Peter F. Drucker Center for Executive Excellence, USC - and consulted with Fortune 500 firms, French fashion designers, shopping malls, and more.
Writing has always been a part of what she does, from academic papers to corporate marketing research reports, voiceover scripts to trade pieces about script writing, to ads, marketing collateral, and press releases. She's done it all.
Kerri is currently finishing a ghostwriting project for a leader in the speaking field, where she is not only a writing partner (silent co-author), but is heavily involved in the role of publicist. She has 8 related publications upcoming to promote the book.
